Sunny Day Fun on the Mall
On our first shooting assignment, I was attracted to energetic activities on the Mall. I sought images that would highlight the people while making connections to familiar Mall landmarks. The sports images are perhaps a metaphor for the political striving for which the nation's capital is more well known. Enjoy! -- Roger

Roger, your 5th picture down reminded me of a wonderful story. Hasim Khan, possibly the greatest of all squash players, and the founder of a dynasty of succeeding world champions, once wrote a book on the game and his life. Transcribed from his retelling the book is a delicious concoction of pidgin English sprinkled with life homilies. In it he tells the secret of success: "One thing, one thing only, I tell you. Keep Eye on Ball". Seems like you are doing this to great effect. Best, Farid.
